Updates! New Map, More Vehicles
by alayton at 5:01pmOver the past few months, several new maps have been added: Namalsk, Panthera Island, Takistan, and Fallujah. There's now one more to add to the list: Taviana!
As part of working on the Taviana map, we've improved our behind the scenes tools for processing data to handle vehicles. Many of you have asked for vehicles on more maps than just Chernarus, and now we can give them to you! Vehicle locations are pulled directly from DayZ Bliss, one of the most used private hive packages. All maps got updated with this vehicle info, including Chernarus.
The next steps for DayZDB are pretty big ones: standalone DayZ is coming soon, and we're trying to get as much preparation done before the holidays as we can. Whenever it is released, we'll be working hard to get the quality data available that brought you here for the mod as soon as possible.

Just ran three hours on a first time Panthera life. Most of the ability to do that was knowing my surroundings. Thanks again for all the hard work!!!

When is Dayz Standalone coming out so i can get it for Xbox 360, and i mean like they said that it would move to Xbox and PS3 when they got at least a million players and they have at least 2 or 3 million people.
Plus don't think i am saying this because i am mad or something but i have seen the videos of them showing us that they are changing the whole design of the game and i just can't wait for it to come out.
Cause i mean i think that in my opinion this would be a lot easier on Xbox then on computer.
