MP5A5

The MP5A5 is a great close quarters weapon with a small audible range. This helps to make it effective for hunting players and zombies alike. However, it suffers from obstructive iron sights, making it more difficult to see the target.

The MP5A5 has three firing modes, fully-automatic, semi-automatic and 3-round burst, and can also use sidearm ammunition such as PDW Mag., G17 Mag., and M9SD Mag., thus freeing up space in the main inventory.

This is a fair gun for close quarters combat. It has a great fire rate and the ammunition is surplus. It is also quieter than the other guns if you want to do a stealth mission. However it lacks a good punching power and it's recommended that you aim for the head all the time. I will warn you to stay away from PvP with this gun.

Basically it's a faster pistol hence the name machine pistol.

this gun is so good, the fact that you can use g18 and other secondary gun mags means you can keep your main inventory free which makes looting much easier and quicker

Great gun, I can only find actual MP5 Mags in Deer stands but you can convert so much other ammo for it and never run out

One handy trick with this weapon is to use PDW and G17 mags while scavenging to save room in your primary inventory for big stuff like car parts.

This gun is a pretty great starting gun. You can find ammo for it in some form at pretty much any military spawn location. I got something like 270 rounds in an hour in both primary and secondary weapon magazines that worked for it by just looting the northeast parts of Electro. I lost some to trying to put too much in my backpack but whatever. Its nice and quiet and perfect for spray and pray especially with all the ammo. With decent iron sights its good for both z's and players.

Great gun, I prefer this over the Ak - 74 even though the ammo is a bit harder to find, the rate of fire is better and in my opinion the iron sights are as well.

Found it once in a Deer Stand with one clip for it, was like... meh... kept my 74U and called it good.
