Makarov PM
The Makarov PM is a moderately powerful pistol, as well as one of the quietest unsilenced weapons in the game. Despite having moderate damage for a pistol, compared to rifles, it is quite weak, requiring three body shots to kill a zombie. With only 8 rounds per magazine, it becomes important to go for headshots whenever possible.
In residential buildings, as well as supermarkets, Makarovs are the most common weapon spawn. Makarov Mag. are among the most common ammo available; they can spawn anywhere but helicopter crashes, and can also drop from some zombies.
Prior to the release of version 1.7.1, players would spawn with a Makarov PM and 6 magazines, providing substantial firepower immediately upon spawning. After 1.7.1, players began spawning without any weapons, and Makarovs were added to the loot tables as a normal weapon.
1) Shoot 1 clip into their body. They should pass out.
2) Drag their body until they die of blood.
