FN FAL
The FN FAL is a rare assault rifle that does a large amount of damage. It is only available from helicopter crash sites, along with its variant fitted with a night vision scope, the FN FAL AN/PVS-4.
It uses a FN FAL Mag. loaded with 20 7.62x51mm NATO rounds, the same ammunition used by the DMR, M24, M14 AIM, Mk 48 Mod 0, and M240. Despite this, none of these magazines can be converted for use in the FN FAL, or vice versa. In other words, the FN FAL and the FN FAL AN/PVS-4 require FN FAL Mag. to be used, without any alternatives.

EXTREMELY effective in PvP. 8k effective damage downs in 1 shot (downs, not kills, but a downed person is a dead person in most scenarios).

Really nice weapon for PvP. Just took out 2 players and got myself a lot of loot. However you should use your ammo wisely as the mags as of yet are not convertable with DMR mags etc.

First of I own the real steel and it can reach out and touch steel plates with auttority :D
A lot of people confuse the M14 DMR mags with FN FAL mags although they are both 308 powerful round it is not the same mag although in this game I seen m9 mags fit on to a glock lol I say why not making them compatible.
Needles to say this gun is a beast for PVP, also a bit of a shmae there is only NVG scope on it and no other actual scope

There's a couple problems with your conclusion. The Enfield is a bolt action, so it has a slow fire rate, and it only holds 10 rounds while the FAL is semi-auto and holds 20. While they would fair the same against a couple zombies the FAL is far superior for a large group of zombies (for example if you have to fire in town), and even more so against other players which require multiple hits to kill with either gun, and can shoot back.

Pros:
High blood damage (8000, enough to almost always knock somebody unconscious)
Good accuracy (Up to 400m, as the page says)
Good magazine size (20)
Cons:
The gun and the ammo are rare (Only found at crash sites)
It's very loud (About as loud as an M24/CZ550)
It can't go full auto (Perhaps a blessing in disguise due to the limited ammo)

Yes, i have to say you're right, so the FN Fal is better then the Lee Enfield, i also just say nearly senceless, but the amo is sooooo rare that a prefer the Lee Enfield. The amo you can only finde at helicopters, the Lee Enfield amo EVERWHERE, but i have to say that your opinion is also right.

@DeZrEcTi0n i agree, i just looted 1 crash site which had 3 of them. and 5 mags all together. GIVE MORE AMMO NEXT TIME! lmao at least my squad has some nice rifles :p

Alright, not the answer I was hoping for, but thanks! Found the gun at a crashed heli last night, no ammo though. Wondering if someone looted before I got there and already had the gun so just needed the ammo.

Big brother of the AKM, if you are able to check Chopper Crashes frequently take it! Otherwise you should become friends with the AKM since it's easier to find Ammo for it.

Its a great PvP gun, Ammo is rare and only found at Heli crash sites. All BS aside, you might as well get a Lee Enfield... to do the same amount of damage & the ammo isn't as rare. There isn't really a pay off the FN FAL...other than its rarity, which isn't worth anything when your out of ammo.

I was on the big hill near elektro with this and a range finder, saw somebody on the hospital, zoomed in on him with my rangefinder and looked up a bit, without moving my aim at all i got out my fn fal and zoomed in where i couldnt even see the hospital but still shot the gun hoping to get lucky, looked through my rangefinder and guess what I saw... His ass bleeding on the ground, looked and it was a 675 meter shot..

I consider myself very luckey because i found 3 bizons SD and 4 fn fals and 1 nightvision one at heli crash site now im rolling i have a fn fal with 5 mags and a m4a3 cco and my friend has the bizon :)

Can someone clarify about the ammo for me, it says that the FAL mag cannot be converted for the other guns, but can the other mags, such as DMR, be converted and used for the FAL?
