Engine Parts
Engine Parts are used to repair damaged engines in vehicles, and they are one of the more rare items in-game. They take up 6 inventory slots and can be found in industrial loot spawns. To repair a vehicle with a damaged engine, choose "Repair Engine" from the mouse wheel menu.
I'm playing some of the newer maps, like Lingor and Tarviana, and I find these all the time. Found 3 at once today. That's actually a new record for me.
I found one, didnt think it would be hard to find another one, havnt found one in two months...just my luck....
found 4 rotor blades and 2 mountain dews and still havent come across another engine
When I respawned I ran into a warehouse and there were two engines. I have never seen another one again..
Droprate on this is depressing. There's no other word for it. A week...countless hours, countless towns and cities...nothing. Incredibly lame, considering I saw a heli flying toward the fucking dev island within a half hour of my server going live for the first time.
The only time I ever found these was randomly on the side of the road...
Me and my friend discovered a Red GAZ at Stary Sobor, we spent 3-4 hours going around to certain places like the factory north of Dolina, Stary and Novy themselves, Zelenogorsk, Kamarovo, and Chernogorsk. Was the drop rate decreased or something?

Been running around for 5 days, have not found one yet. Droprate is just stupid.
