Double-barreled Shotgun

The Double-barreled Shotgun has the lowest magazine capacity in the shotgun family, but is just as powerful as the M1014 or Remington 870 (Flashlight). It uses the same type of round as the other shotguns, but its magazines only hold 2 shells instead of 8. Because of this magazine limitation, its generally considered one of the worst gun in DayZ. As a redeeming trait, it can at least fire both rounds in rapid succession.

Since 1.7.1.2, it is now possible to combine four magazines of the same type into one M1014 magazine, and also possible to split one M1014 magazine (slugs or pellets) into four smaller magazines.

Despite all of it's terrible characteristics, this gun can actually save you in close quarters, because it's a one hit kill with pellets (2000 dmg per, 8 pellets).

Worst shotgun in the game, ammo fill's your inventory and the long barrel makes it difficult to aim close range. Avoid at all costs.

It is fine at close quarters, but it's lack of sighting makes it impractical to use under 100 meters, even the maximum slug range is 250.

I would use it if the game handled shotgun ammuniton properly instead of dividing shells into 2 or 8 rounds "magazines" which is ridiculous.

Awful weapon, only pick up if you have nothing.

If you think about it, there is no reason to dislike this shotgun. Just carry a few pairs of m1014 rounds with you. It's not like you get penalized for changing mag types.

Fun to shoot zombies with but of little practical value.

The only reason i use this is cuz i have nothing else.
If i find an axe i would drop this.
